Grill Igniter Replacement Review

Igniter Replacement

When the igniter on our grill stopped working, it was a major disappointment as our grill wasn't even 3 years old at the time. Had we known it was so easy to replace, we wouldn't have been as concerned. We chose the Master Forge Universal Fit Electronic Ignition Kit. We found it at Lowes and it has universal compatibility with most grill models. If it's not available, this SHINESTAR module is very similar and should work as well.

The Master Forge module is simple to install and has the ability to work with a remote trigger as well. First, unplug and remove the old igniter. If you're not going to use a remote switch, connect the included loop wire to the 2 terminal holes. Then connect the discharge wires from the burners to the terminal. Secure the terminal to the grill and insert a fresh double-A battery. Attach the push button cap and press to ignite. If you wanted to attach the igniter to a remote switch, you would have to remove the loop wire and attach the remote wires to the 2 terminal holes, but we prefer the push button igniter. The Master Forge is a cheap grill igniter replacement with easy installation. We're very happy with this product.
