Instant Pot Deviled Eggs

Updated: Aug 29, 2023

Deviled Eggs are a great addition to any get together or party. Here is our simple Instant Pot deviled eggs recipe.

Instant Pot Deviled Eggs

• 6 Eggs

• 1 1/2 Cups Water

• 1/4 Cup Mayonnaise

• 1 Tablespoon Yellow Mustard

• 1 Teaspoon Dill Pickle Juice

• 1/8 Teaspoon Salt

• 1/8 Teaspoon Pepper

• Smoked Paprika to Shake on Top

• 1 to 2 Shakes Tabasco (Optional)

Optional for Garnish- Fresh Chives, Diced Green Onion, or Bacon

Part 1:

Place your steamer basket or trivet into your Instant Pot. Set eggs in the steamer basket and add water. Put the lid on and set to manual for 5 minutes (6 minutes of you want a firmer yolk).

Part 2:

When it beeps, allow for a 5 minute natural release, then quick release.

Part 3:

Remove eggs from Instant Pot and place in a bowl of ice water to cool. After 5 minutes you can remove the eggs and peel them. Cut the eggs in half the long way and remove the yolk. Set aside egg whites on a plate and place yolk into a bowl and smash.

Part 4:

Add mayonnaise, mustard, salt, pepper, and (Tabasco optional) into the bowl with the yolk and mix with a fork or hand mixer until creamy. Scoop yolk mixture into the egg white. Sprinkle with smoked paprika. Optional- top with chives, chopped green onions, or chopped up bacon or candy bacon.

*Makes a dozen Deviled Eggs. Feel free to double the recipe for a party.

Alternative:

If you like egg salad sandwiches you can use the same ingredients and instructions but instead of cutting the eggs in half, dice the eggs and mix with a fork or spoon instead of a hand mixer. Distribute onto bread. It's about 2 eggs per full sandwich.
