12-16oz bag of fresh cranberries
1 large orange (1/4 to 1/3 cup worth of juice)
1 tsp grated orange peel
3/4 cup brown sugar (can substitute white sugar)
In a strainer, wash your fresh cranberries. Pick out any stems or soft cranberries. Grate 1 tsp of orange zest. Juice the large orange, which should give you 1/4 to 1/3 cup of juice.
In your Instant Pot add the fresh cranberries, orange juice, orange zest, 3/4 cup of brown sugar and a cinnamon stick. Secure the lid and set to manual for 4 mintures. When it beeps allow a 10 minute natural release.
Open lid and stir cranberries with a wooden spoon,smashing the craberries to your desired consistancy. Serve fresh or cook ahead of time. Will keep in the fridge for 7 to 10 days. Enjoy your Instant Pot fresh cranberry sauce!
