Mango Lime Sorbet

This is a delicious cold treat to enjoy this summer. Here's how to make your own home made Mango Lime Sorbet.

A delicious frozen treat!

  • 4-5 Mangos

  • 1/4-1/3 Cup Lime Juice (roughly 2 limes)

  • 1/4-1/3 Cup Agave or Honey

Cut up your mango and place on a tray and put it in the freezer for a minimum of 2 hours. If you want to serve the sorbet in the mangos halves, cut the halves and scoop out the mango with a spoon then cut into cubes.

After your mango is frozen, put mango, lime juice and your chosen sweetener into a food processor and blend. If the consistency is too thick or chunky add a little water. Feel free to then taste it and adjust the sweetener or lime juice depending on how sweet or tart you prefer it. We like it a bit more tart so we do more lime and less sweetener. You can serve it imediately or store it in a freezer safe container to enjoy later.

*If you don't want to deal with cutting up the mango and aren't planning to serve it in a mango half, feel free to use a frozen bag of mango chunks from the store.
