Water Mark Remover Review

Updated: Aug 24

If you've ever set an iced coffee on a wood table without a coaster, you know you're probably at risk for leaving a water mark that will stain the table permanently. Usually we're pretty good about that, but recently we had an unforeseeable situation.

Water Mark Remover Wipes

We put a hot pan with our dinner on top of a cork heat trivet on our dining table. After we finished our meal, we pulled up the pan and trivet and to our surprise, a round blotch of moisture seemed to get trapped under the cork. We tried to wipe it up with a towel, but the water mark remained. The water mark stain was a big 6 inch circle and quite an eye sore that needed an immediate solution.

Luckily, we found these water mark remover wipes. After pulling the moist cloth out of the package, all you have to do is rub it over the affected area. In our case, the wipes seemed to instantly clear up the water mark. You may have to scrub harder depending on how bad your water mark is, but it didn't take too much elbow grease to get the job done. One thing to note, I wouldn't recommend using these wipes on any unfinished wood furniture as they will definitely leave a sheen behind.

The wipes are also reusable. We've used the cloth a couple of times and as long as you reseal it in the package, it should stay wet. When the cloth starts to feel dry, it's time to get a new one. Make sure you wash your hands really well after using these water mark remover wipes. We're not sure what chemicals are in the oil the cloth is soaked in, but they probably aren't good for you. Ultimately, we highly recommend these wipes for removing pesky water marks on wood furniture.
